This log cabin is located in Winter Park, CO, the guesthouse is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Cozens Ranch House Museum and Moffat Tunnel West Portal are local landmarks, and the area’s natural beauty can be seen at Byers Peak Wilderness and Berthoud Pass. Traveling with kids? Consider Amaze’n Maze Winter Park and Vasquez Peak Wilderness. Be sure to check out the area’s animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

The Log Cabin Winter Park property called “Alpine Way Retreat” is a beautiful new home offering a spacious interior and unique amenities. This rental is for the ground floor portion of the home (stairs down to it) and has a spectacular patio right on Vasquez Creek with a brand new, 5 person hot tub.

The guest portion of the home is completely separate from the rest of the home, and there are no shared amenities. Everything shown in the pictures is part of the rental.

The Alpine Ski Retreat is located just above downtown Winter Park. There is a shuttle stop two houses away which will provide a bus access to Winter Park Ski Resort for skiing or summertime activities. Many activities are immediately outside our front door. We are directly adjacent to the trails of Vasquez Ridge, providing activities such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking, ATV riding etc… You can bring your own snowmobiles, plenty of room in the driveway for a trailer.

The non-smoking unit has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, and living room. Cozy up to a warm gas log fireplace after skiing, while checking out the spectacular view of Vasquez Creek and the surrounding wildlife. On the patio is a large hot tub for your use. Please note, due to sanitation requirements, the hot tub may not be at full temp, 104 degrees, until the first morning after check in. We frequently have to drain and fill the tub between stays, and there is a 12 hour re-heat time. A Smart TV is provided for streaming all of your favorite shows via your Netflix, Hulu, etc… type accounts.

The 2 bedrooms consist of a brand new king sized bed in the master, and two sets of twin XL bunk beds in the second bedroom.

There is also a full laundry room available for use (included in the rent).

Relax at this Log Cabin in Winter Park after an invigorating day of skiing or summer mountain biking, and enjoy all of the town festivities within walking distance. (less than 1 mile) This includes concerts, and entertainment events from the town band shell. The resort village also offers several attractions including Trestle, one of North America’s largest mountain bike parks, an alpine slide, mini golf, human maze, zip line, gyro extreme, disc golf, rock climbing wall, bungee trampolines, gold panning, bouncy house, and a new downhill tubing track, with a ride back up. What’s more, you are less than a mile from all the great local shops, restaurants, recreation center, sledding and tubing hills in downtown Winter Park! Enjoy golf with 3 first class mountain golf courses within minutes.
